Title: Ship Simulator Extremes Tutorials Requested
Post by: 1st Commander on September 01, 2010, 08:52:23
Hello everyone again,

I feel a little auckward being a former cadet commander when I was young asking, but as a ship simulator user since 2006 the main reason for why I use any of the ship simulator series and especially extremes is for navigation educational purposes.

Some things the cadet corps doesn't teach hands on very well is proper navigation due too many reasons including out to sea time in hands on ship navigation time in learning several things, which I was wondering if you can make a demonstration tutorial for Ship Simulator Extremes using proper proceedures?

a. Correct speeds for entry and departure
b. Proper turn speed radius
c. Use of port and starboard lights showing the correct direction of travel

and other examples for Ship Simulator Extremes that will demonstrate true ship navigation for the end user as a tutorial?

I feel if there was any benefit for a turtorial to have this would be my priority based upon establishing a more truly realistic environment in learning true ship navigation.

Thanks for your understanding!
