Title: What about animation?
Post by: Shipaddict on May 12, 2007, 09:13:31
As shipsim 08 has quite a few ferries wouldn't it be nice if we could have opening car doors and passenger doors? In walk around in ss06 the doors are animated this could be the same but by pressing a button. ;D

I hope so too, they should try to get this in the game.

It all takes machine cycles!  What are you going to run it on?

I don't know what you mean! It would just make it more realistic if you have animation

I would not say that this takes much CPU time. We are talking about scripted animations and not about an AI ;-)

I think that they could do it. They did it with the doors on the cargo vessel in the add-on pack.

Maybe prompted animation cycles, like those on the doors, would not be a bad idea.
