Title: Another Nice Touch
Post by: Chitch on August 28, 2010, 19:42:55
If you recall, I mentioned that on the run from San Fran to Australia...during the stop in the Islands, that when I jumped over to the speed boat to take out to the Agile Solution...when I unhooked the stern line, the boat tipped and sank in the water right next to the pier....well, the nice part was that the boat on the bottom of the lagoon, looked perfectly like a boat that had sunk.  I've done some salvage work on personal boats that have gone down for one reason or another, and you can't tell the difference between the sim and what I saw in the real world (?)....nice touch!

The water clarity in the Islands is a little better than it should be, but not by a lot...from behind the A/S you can plainly see the full rudder and prop spinning, and the stern wash should mask a lot of that, but that's just a bit of a nitpick...so far, I really like what I see
