Hello,
I have pre-ordered the new Ship Sim Extremes, all the other Ship Sims work on my comptuter so I didn't think before I ordered it.
I have a HP Pavilion Slimline, will this version of Ship Sim work? All the specs seem fine except for the graphics, I have:
Adapter Type ATI Radeon Graphics Processor (0x954F), ATI Technologies Inc. compatible
Adapter Description ATI Radeon HD 4350
Please reply as soon as possible!
Thank you

Can we See you Dxdiag?
I you dont know how to retrieve it Follow these instructions
Start>Run (If you have vista in the star menu theres a search, search run)
Click Run> Type in the box DxDiag
Click Yes to the message that pops up> Click Save all info to the desktop
then upload that note document to The forum here
I think These are the SSE Requirements
Operating System: XP, Vista, Windows 7
2.4 Ghz Processor or AMD Equivalent
256 MB of Graphics Card Memory
1 Gb Ram for XP 2 Gb for Vista/Windows 7
-
I have done all that, these are the replies to the information that you have asked me to gather:
2.8 Ghz Processor
502 MB of Graphic Card Memory
3070 MB Ram
Do you think it shall work?
Thank You

but may i reckomend you pre order from ship simulator website

Unfortunatly I have already ordered it from amazon, I couldn't find it on the ship simulator website (not sure if it has been released here yet)
-
Ship Simulator Extremes has not been released yet at all. Others have had issues with sites like Amazon, so I recommend you cancel the Amazon order, and buy it from the main page when it's actually available for preorder.

As Shane says, wait until the pre-order option is available. You get a bonus vessel if you pre-order at ShipSim.

I see on the Ship Sim Requirements it says a 3.0ghz processor, in theory should the game be able to run on a slower processor?
I really want to buy Extreems but my PC has a Quad Core 2.6Ghz processor, all other aspects of my pc match the requirements except the cpu clock speed.

Hi Coyotes_UK,
The answer to your question is given in the ShipSim Extremes requirement topic (http://80.95.161.114/shipsim/forum/index.php/topic,19344.0.html)
As long as you have sufficient RAM and a good video card, you can run the game with a slower processor than stated :)

Will SSE work on my computer???

A simple dxdiag attachment would have sufficed.. ;)

A simple dxdiag attachment would have sufficed.. ;)
Haha, not for me ;)

(But do SSE work???)
-
Ahoy Markus,
You may be a bit low on the processor spec's (Pentium 4, 3.0 GHz is minimum required), and it might be advisable to update your Graphic Card's driver. It's quite old.
Kind Regards
Aad

Hi Aad!
How do I update graphics card driver?
/Markus
-
Ahoy Markus,
Just go to the website of your graphic card's (http://www.amd.com/uk/Pages/AMDHomePage.aspx) and click on download drivers. Look for the make and model of your card and let the fun begin.
Good luck
Aad
