Hello Andreas!

Well in last two days we got two new videos & screenshots about Ship Simulator extremes and those are:

In these videos, the VSTEP developer Frank Dolmans told us about one mission called "Cruise from hell". In these mission probably the cruise ship called Ocean Star ( or renamed into: Orient Star ) is going to have some problems and your mission will be to evacuate the passangers in lifeboats.
Because now is confirmed that launching the lifeboats it will be possible.

So the answer on your question is: YES

Sure it will, it sounds like a realy exciting mission!!

I'm imaginating how will looks that lifeboat launching, will there be the whole processing or, we'l just press the button and the lifeboat will spawn on the side of the ship???

In any way, that's one of the greatest options in Ship Simulator Extremes, i can't wait to try these out.
I'm imaginating how i'm arriving on the Phi Phi Islands with Ocean Star ( Orient Star ) and launching the lifeboats, and going to shore, or cruising around the ship...

It's sounds too good!!

BUT: Will the launching lifeboats option be avaliable in the free rooming??

It seams that's the only way to find out the answer on that question.

Maybe it will be something about that in "Developer Dyaries".

if this helps some way, at one point in this video/interview it shows the bow of the coast guard cutter with a small launch-able boat. Frank said you can launch the boat, and i assume thats besides doing missions with it, and drive it around.
