Title: Customize controls \ buttons?
Post by: jship on August 24, 2007, 02:55:15
Is there anyway to customize the controls?

I use a joypad but I can only do the basics like both engines forward \ reverse and the rudder. I would like to assign other functions to my joypad buttons such as the bow thrusters and horn.

Is this possible?

Can you not go into options and then customise controls?

There doesn't seem to be any options to change the button configuration.

If you go into options and then controls...then you just double click on the control you want to change and then you select a key on the keyboard or a button on a joystick or some other controller ;)

PS:I think this question has been asked before here on the forum...try the search function :)

In the -06 version you can´t do it that way, it´s only in the -08 version. I haven´t found any way to customise buttons in -06...

Hello,
Perhaps you could have a look at "joytokey" (search Google or the old forum), it could solve the problem.
