The frigates are there so you can experience what it's like to sail one. Not so you can go around blasting stuff.

Instead of loading VSTEP with loads of ship like adding a submarine, why not to go & buy a Silent Hunter 5?

Let's stay friendly, just harmless fun...initiated by the over-the-top dev diary I guess (am I right whitestar?)
Well, actually, believe it or not, but we get these weapon questions quite often, not only from the gamers, but also from publishers (when it blows up, it sells well they seem to think... ;D)
But no missiles in Extremes I'm afraid, only cannons you'll be able to shoot are watercannons!
