I would apreciate a "super pack" for the small harbour tug. The dynamics are fine just increase the bollard pull to something like 50 tons to make it useable for real jobs in the harbour. I have difficulties with the Bugsier because I'm a Joystick driver and the russian tug is also too weak.

Hi Ule,
Unfortunately, Terry is no longer a member of this forum. You can contact him, or make your request for modified dynamics on the Creator’s Forum:

Hi Uli,
I fear, there isn't any chance to improve the tugs bollard pull. We have made some attempts a short time before the "B2" came out and it was quite impossible to give the small tug more power without changing the whole dynamics. The tug is too light, so more power results in a ridiculous behaviour with a bow-to-air upset and other strange movements. But I don't know, if the current dynamic masters will see another way. All in all this one isn't made for towing more than barges or little cargoes... :'(
Best regards

I had recently a job on "Waterstroom" (Sister: Waterpoort http://www.tugspotters.com/tempframeset.php?id=foto.htm) which design was very similar to that small tug and it had a bollard pull of amazing 56 tons.

Unbelievable ideed! The "B2" has just 10 % more... :P
Well, tugspotters says bp = 15 t - which seems to be realistic for me!

Sorry it wasn`t a sister "Waterstroom is a New One delivered by Damen, Hardly space enough for 2 people in the bridge (like Phone Cell) but lots of power driven by two azimut driver situated at the stern. Dimensions were
28,67m x 10,43m @ 294 GRT. (http://www.wagenborg.com/PDF/waterstroom.pdf)

I see!
But the general dimensions are quite similar to the "B2" with almost the same thrusters made by Rolls-Royce. Okay, it is not an azimuth tractor tug but an azimuth stern drive tug, but you can't compare it with our little tug boat. As mentioned before, maybe the "Dynamiacs" are able to improve the tugs power.. ;)
