Ahoy Ship(sim)mates
I know there are a lot of people around here who will help You and Me and everybody with all kind of stuff, And most of the time people do appreciate it, but sometimes just forget to say Thank You to that person.
So, for starters, I will give a big Thank You :thumbs: to Tore, aka TJK for making me that signature I'm using right now.
Further a big Thank You to Marty (mmvsmith). Due to his straight critics he put me right where I belonged at my first mont's on this Forum. In the beginners-league, and out of the masterclass where I thought I belonged in.
Thanks to all Guys and Gals on this Forum, and again a special one to Carl.
Without his help on certain subjects I'm sure SS08 was gone the way of all other sims I bought. Into the big shoebox and ready for the fleamarket.
I'm sure I forgot a mass of people, but One of them is unforgettabla.
Yes, Terry, I'm reffering to You. Thank You for giving me the opportunity to meet You 'In the Flesh ;D ' and the wonderfull hours we spent together.
And last but not least: Thank You, Dana, for Your nice company and for Your courage walking me and my wife to the Tramway in that Icy eve. :thumbs:

Thanks to all the moderators and administrators for all their efforts on the forum, and giving up their free time.
I'd especially like to thank Terry and Fred, Terry for sorting out everything with the creators forum etc. and For helping sort out that Virus I had on my computer! Wouldn't have gone without your help :)
And Fred, for involving me in his project (Steam Tug), which I am delighted to help with :) And for being a great (past moderator) And Administrator, that goes for Terry too ;D :thumbs:
And Thankyou very much to Carl, for all his help in the past, and I hope that his health issues sort themselves out in the near future :thumbs:
I'd like to thank the developers for producing a cracking game, which I spend most of my time on! The forum, and the simulator itself ;D

ShipAddict-For helping tremendously with Sketchup, Kerkythea etc. as well as being a cracking friend ;D :lol:

MH1-Genuine person, and a decent friend!
The Captain-A nice person to talk to, a great friend :)
RMS Great Britain-I remember when you first came here hehe, saw you on MP :) Genuine person! ;D

HI all members of shipsim forum ;) Haw's not been a forum at all.
Yes i haw made allot of sigs here now, and if someone need one i will never say no to you, but i haw a life outside also ;D so it can take some time but all will get one.
And to TERRY RUSSEL i will say if i hurt you in the topic i made, was not meaning to, i toot you know ed me so long no, :( little unlucky for that OK then weary unlucky ;) you are a great guy
DJM or as wee as know him CARL sorry he is not here with us in the forum any more miss him. But then wee haw Fred and Terry's humor ???? ;) Fred as a weary god friend, and i cant forget evisse(EriK)the best friend you can get and we haw Eric also tank you to you all

This is a great online community too, I have seen a lot of people wanting to help each other if someone has a problem, or just want to share good practices ("How to Build Your Own Controller" and tutorial threads are good examples) or even share jokes in Small Talk. Also picture of the month is a nice way of sharing everyone's love of ships, whether it's a screen grab from ShipSim or photos of real ships.
Keep up the good work guys - I've often found this forum to be the only sane place in this crazy world (or should that be vice-versa ?! ;D ;))

If I click 'members' on the toolbar of the forum it says showing 1-30 of 32235 members. I think you are looking at the bottom of the page which presumably includes members who have left!!

Thanks to all the members here, especaially the moderators for the tremendous efforts that go towards keeping us all happy and sorting out all the techy problems with patience just so we caa enjoy ShipSim even more.
IRI5HJ4CK - We;ve known each other from the start, we've had some great fun on multiplayer and you've managed to put up with me for 13 months now without moaning :lol: Can't forget that Irish sense of humour ;D
SA - We've had some great fun on MP as well, and you've helped me out a lot with my 3D models, especially the Red Osprey.
Carl- We sometimes don't get along too well but we've had some great times on ShipSim and you're a great guy to talk with.
Ballast - Also great fun to play with on MP and thank you for all those piccies you've shared with me and for the advice for the future.
Tore - Thanks for the sigs and you've put up with me requesting a new one every 3 hours ;D
RMSGreatBritain - Great to chat with, not played much on SS with you but we've certainly had some fun online RaceDriver GRID on the PlayStation 3 - I'm still the better driver, and you owe me for that dent in my BMW :P ;D
And all those firneds who sadly are no longer around much more, Aida, Fox, Rafax, Iglo, Saphire, Freddy, James, and sorry if i've forgotten any of you.
How can i forget - Thanks VSTEP!! If it wasn't for you we'd all be on the Hangsim forum being moaned at by all the no-funs ;D Or worse still, we may not even of met each other if you hadn't created ShipSim..so thanks!

And a lot of others. (see above for the roll-call!).
The thing to remember is that although I may sometimes grumble and tell people off, I don't carry grudges. Although there seems to be a general feeling that I've banned a lot of people, I actually have the lowest count of almost all the moderators. I probably do the most grumbling, but I also post the most. The vast majority of my posts have been either jokes or fixes for people's various problems. I've enjoyed that immensely.
, I really do thank all those people and the hundreds I've missed out.

Carl - For always being there for me. Simply everything. I was heartbroken when I came back to the Ship Simulator forums, realizing you quitted. But I know it wasn't your choice. I miss you immensely, and I wish you would come back some time. I need a tissue now... (yes, I'm extremely sensitive)

Fred - You are amazing. I really like you, you are very polite and funny, and I appreciate you for every time you have helped me out. I hope I can have many more laughs with you. :2thumbs:
