Shortly... How can I start playing Ship Simulator online... Please Help!

Multiplayer isn't possible on SS06, but on SS08 you can ;)

Click "Profile" in the top.
Scroll down. You should see a key register field. Enter your license key and click "Register".
DO NOT post your key in the forum. NEVER EVER!
Start the game, click settings then Other? I don't remember right now. Other, online, could be one of those. There should be fields to put your forum profile and password. Then click the icon it the right.

i had ship sim for a while i just not quite sure how u play other people online and what you do ectt.. i been into boats forages just like some help please

If you mean Ship Simulator 2006, (since this is the SS06 board) then alas, you cannot play online with other people. Multiplayer is only available in SS08.

Oh man thats not fair. I just decided to install the game again after finding this forum. Oh well now I will just have to go buy SS08 ::).

Does anybody know when exactly SS2010 is should come out ? I know when roughly but like in august or in june ???

Welcome to the forums!
To answer your question; There is no exact date yet to be mentioned. Right now, the guestimate is Q1 of 2010.
The summer of '09 was most likely too optimistic, for a first guess. But in this stage of development, solid promises cannot yet be made at all.

But when i click on profile it tells me enter forum name and password and then it sais enter licence key.But before that popup it has an icon of the earth with an up arrow above it.what does that mean.I also have ss08but not new horizons and i have been trying to connect online on that for over a year and ittells me i need to download v 1.3 when i download v1.3 before v1.4.2 which it tells me that will give me access.oh and by the way i watch alot of ss06 videos on youtube and one of them its title is ss06 ONLINE movie. :-\

You cannot play online in SS06.
