We all use them but how much do we know about how we use them. It's just one of those simple things in the world that we really know nothing about. You can always see basic trends on the Forum, Like for instance I'll tell you that almost no people are going to vote "Kiss" but many more will vote "Grin" I thought it was about time to get this continuing answer set in stone.

Thank you, o Devil Master of the Cameloids.
This is what I had in mind, though...

Terrys gone evil ;D

Ahh, Professor Russell has always been evil ;D. He is a mad scientist ;D.
I only chose 2: ;D ::). The grin is just for me being silly and the rolly eyes are for me being sarcastic ;D.
Mine: ;D :D :) (I'm a happy person, yey!!!)
I always have a smile on my face, like this ;D. Well, not really. Maybe one like this :). Or, maybe it was this one ;D. I am very well known around school for my comedy and sound affects ;D. Normally I walk down one of the main hallways and a HUGE! crowd of people say" Holy ****, you are the firetruck kid!!!!!!" ;D. I just smile and say" Uhh, yes, thats me. How can I help you crowd of people ;D?"" Hey, can you do the police siren thing? Please?"" Alright ;D- Weeeeeee ooooooooooo. weew weew weew weew!( Trust me, if I sound how you read it, you would think, awh, thats not so hard. I can do wee oo in my sleep. Well you can't >:( :) ;D. Or else I would not be so famous in school. Even the teachers sometimes ask me ;D.) Anyway, I impress the crowd with me ability to mimic a perfect police siren ;D." Woah, dude!!! That is soo cool! Man, you are so lucky to learn how to do that. Hey, how did you learn how to do that?"" I really just taught myself. You really can't teach someone to mimic a police car ;D"." Ohh, ok. See you around."(Crowd walks away saying how cool that was ;D.) I would consider myself a very popular person ;D.
Anyway, enough bragging about myself and my supernatural ability ::) ;D. I bet Marty could not even enter this topic, since I have only seen him use a smiley once ;D. Has anyone else seen Marty use a smiley more than 5 times?

Terrys gone evil ;D
Gone? Foolish mortal. I have always been evil...
-
I think you're missing a good, Mhu Ha Ha. ;)
-
Gone? Foolish mortal. I have always been evil...
Ahh, Professor Russell has always been evil ;D. He is a mad scientist ;D.
Way ahead of you there professor ;D. In fact, a day early ;D.
-
Way ahead of you there professor ;D. In fact, a day early ;D.
Ah, but with the time difference between here and the USA ("You are now entering the UK, and need to reset your watches. Please put them back by three hundred years"), I did in fact say that 299 years and 364 days before you.
-
To correct your humorus statement ;D, the U.K. is 5 hours ahead of Florida. So, I still said it a day early ;D. In your face ;D ;D ;D ;D!
-
Hi, The Captin.
My Mother-in-Law lives in Lakeland, FL. My Sister-in-Law, Brenda and her husband and my niece and nephew live in Clearwater, FL. My Sister-in-Law, Barbara, and my niece live in Tampa, FL. So, I have a pretty good idea of time differences between here and there. (Or there and here, depending on your point of view).
So to correct your correction, I said that 299+ years before you did. And I said this 300 years and 5 hours after you read it. I am of course the Supreme Timelord with my own TARDIS. ;D
-
So professor, were you just being a smart *** the whole time >:( ;D?
-
Yes, I am the smartest set of asterisks around.
-
May I ask for the definition of that sentence ;D?
-
No
-
Sorry sir :-[ :'(....... May I ask why I am not allowed to get the definition of this sentence:
Yes, I am the smartest set of asterisks around.
-
It is intrinsically undefinable.
-
Ohh cantrair ::). Everything has a definition. Besides, you are a professor! You have to know a definition ;D!
-
Nope.
I am intrinsically undefinable.
It's the same as for electrons. You can know their spin but not their position, or the position but not their spin. The pair of definitions is intrinsically undefinable.
-
Ok. Then may I ask for the definition of one word in that sentence?
-
Nope.
It is intrinsically undefinable.
-
stop being smart Terry. im not in school and im dead bored.
-
So go do something else. But don't tell me what to do, please. I wasn't talking to you.
-
what happened to the Terry i used to know? you used to laugh at stuff like that.
-
You fell straight into that one! Here's my other icon:
-
that's it. this is coming out.
-
So go do something else. But don't tell me what to do, please. I wasn't talking to you.
Yea trains, he wasent talking to you ;D. He was in a complete adult like conversation with me ;D ;D ;D ;D LOL. Since you arent going to budge, I will have to budge for you(Evil smile). Muhahaha!
And trains, I don't think anyone cares if you are holding a gun in your hand. I think we care more about how far away you are from everyone else and how not dangerous that is ;D.

Definition of asterisks: A star-shaped figure (*) used chiefly to indicate an omission, a reference to a footnote, or an unattested word, sound, or affix.
Professor, what could possibly be the reason of why you did not tell me this?
-
The grin is funny ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
that's it. this is coming out.
Is that what a water pistol looks like, then? I'd often wondered.
-
try airsoft gun Terry ;D
-
Yeah, I know. I saw that other thread.
I edited out the image, though. Probably best not to post weapons of mass paint-balling here....
-
it shoots plastic pellets Terry, not paintballs.
-
OK, best not to post images of mass plastic pellets here.
I prefer a good old spud gun. Cap powered.
Anyway, back to the topic. What about yours?
-

Could you now answer my question ;D?
-
Because people should use their own resources to find answers to questions for which the answer is easily located. "Google" is the solution... ;D
-
I mostly use:
:) ;) :P

Because people should use their own resources to find answers to questions for which the answer is easily located. "Google" is the solution... ;D
Well, I knew the resource was always available, it is just that you were here. Quite stubborn you were, so look up the definition my self I had to ;D.
-
Trouble is, once someone becomes an easy option, many people ask "can you just....". All those "just" add up to a lifetime quite quickly. So the balancing act has to be performed.
-
That is true, but this is the first time I have ever asked you of something. Besides, I was not even sure that was a word, which is why I asked you what it meant.
-
Ah, but look at the valuable skill you have gained or practiced. I could have simply given you the answer, but instead, you have journeyed star-filled tracks of wonderment. Or visited Google, which in their eyes would be equivalent.
-
Actually, I just used dictionary.com ;D. Why would you go to google when I could just have the defenition ;D? So, it wasent a very hard voyage ;D.
