Title: JUST Ship Simulator not 2006 or 2008

Hi All
 I am trying to find updates for Ship Simulator. It doesn't say 2006 or 2008. Does anyone know where I can Get them or at least find the version I have? Thanks for any help...

What doesn't say 2006 or 2008?

Updates are available from the front page (www.shipsim.com). Click on the "Updates & patches" link. That will take you here:

Sorry,  On the cover of my game box it says Ship Simulator only. There is no reference to a year such as 2006 or 2008. Looking at the covers of the other 2 games this box is different from the 2006 and 2008 games. The updates only cover those two games not a plain old ship Simulator.

there is only Ship sim 06 and 08, attach a picture of your box so we can confirm for you ;)

yea, but i believe its Ship sim 06, i googled it. but attach a picture so we're positive.

There is no such thing as "plain old" Ship Simulator. Only 2006 and 2008 versions.

Where did you purchase it?

If you can upload a photo of the box, I can advise you accordingly.

Hey I was reading  your post. If your box has three ships (the Titanic, The Yacht, and the red and white ship) sailing along the Statue of Liberty then you have 2006. If you don't have the box I just described then you have 2008 (LUCKY YOU!) whichever one you have though you can find updates on shipsim.com I think (btw I live in america so i'm jelous cause it takes FOREVER for the new ship sims to get over here)!

just order the download version :P cheaper, and much much faster.

You nailed it!!! Thanks for all your replies, this is a great newsgroup. I got this at Walmart in Canada.

Once you've loaded it and updated it, don't forget to register your profile on the forum. That opens up more areas to you. Well worth the 5 minutes it takes!

Your wrong terry! I bought VS6.7 and on the cover it says on german " Schiff Simulator 2005" that means "Ship Simulator 2005" :lol: , so there was a 2005 ! But when i installed it it says Virtual Sailer 6.7

You haven't bought Ship Simulator at all. You've bought Virtual Sailor, which is nothing to do with us.

It sounds like it's a fake copy, anyway.
