Hi A|A,
Is that the collection that is on the main street, or is there another location? My friend from Monroe and I often went to the falls when I visited her. Also, that nice shop that has works of the artist who makes trees from wire and stones.
Regards,
Marty

Yes that is on SR 202, (Snoqualmie/Fall-City Road) (Fall-City/Redmond Road)
The falls are beautiful aren't they. I will be in the monroe school district this year with another year of online classes. ;D
The wood carvings place moved a year ago down about 2 miles closer to Mount Si High School. But it is still on the same road.

There are some very interesting and unique locomotives in store here and it is to be hoped that the aim is to restore them to working condition again. (Time and money becoming available of course! )
It would be a great pity to see them rust away as they were part of the American Railroad history and of Steam Locomotive development. We lost a great deal here in the UK when steam was retired though we do have a fairly thriving number of steam preservation soceities that have rescued some outstanding examples.
For those not aware of UK steam here is a link to information of a NEW STEAM LOCO just recently built.

I am an ex Merchant Navy Marine Engineer and served my apprenticeship (1950 - 1955)at Derby Locomotive Works before going to sea.

Yeah, I wish they would re-furbish them. They have repainted a couple trains. And I see have bought 2 new ones. Including a big yellow class-somethingness.

Well, it's rather sad to nice such nice steam locomotives rust away. Better than getting vandalised by ruthless people.
