Where can I fine instructions on operating the dock crane. I can move it around the dockside and hoist up and down but cannot work out how to grab the container

Hi,
Tecumseh, And do you have a joystick? If you do and if it has a trigger than try pressing the trigger.

It just is page up/page down to lower the cable, HOME to grab/release a container and the arrows to move in all directions.

Ahoy ship sim boy,
First of all: Welcome to the forum.
When You start the game there is an option called OPTIONS (third one from top).
When Youre there there is an option called CONTROLS (again third one from top).
And there You'll find the option to view or change the keys necessary for crane control
Good Luck and happy sailing, also in the New Year.
Regards
Aad

Wow, we finally get the video a little less than two years after this topic was started  8)

It's not a video, it's a manual, and where did you get that two year period from? I think the edit that included the crane controls is a lot older than the last post edit.

Best to check it out first, and reply afterwards.  ;)

Ahoy Ship(sim)mates,
Does all this chatter in the last four entrys mean that a NEW Forum member isn't allowed to ask a Question in an old thread?
I don't think so.

Aad

Hi Aad,

Nope, I don't think any of it meant thát, on the contrary.   ;D

I was just pointing out that there was no video, nor that it took years for the crane controls to be added to the manual.  :)

But sometimes people just blurt out something, and that can add confusion, not help, to our new members.  ;D

Regards,
Fred

Hi Aad,
Nothing in those last posts was directed at Ship Sim Boy.
You and I posted helpful info. It was the “flapping” without bothering to even see what was in the link that started the exchange.
Regards,
Marty

Ahoy Fred and Marty,
No harm done, I hope. Message understood, crystalclear. There will always be a loudmouth who chatters whitout reading properly.
