Title: My chart is blank, how do I get it back?

I downloaded Ship Sim 2008 and it worked perfectly, I even did the pilot mission out into the Solent.
Since closing it down and restarting the next day, everything is as it should except for my chart. I just have a blank square in the top right hand corner of the screen. Zooming in and out still only gives me a blank square.

How can I get it back?javascript:void(0);
