is there a way i can upgrade my laptop from 1.6 ghz to 2.4 or more? then my ship sim will run faster.

I have never heard that it was possible to do that, I think you have to buy a new prosessor

i'm good with computers, and i can certainly answer your question :D GHZ is a way to indicate the speed of your processor, and no, theres no way to add GHZ to your computer. You will have to buy a new processor, which can get quite expensive. So its best to wait until you get a new computer. Visit your local computer shop, and you should be able to get an estimate for the work. Hope this helps. :)

last time this laptop was fixed, he gave us a virus. my grandfather fixed that but he left, so i can't get help.

hmm, sorry about your grandfather :-\  Umm, the best i can tell you is maybe find another repair shop. Its not something you could do at home, unless your're extremly good with computers. :D
