Anyone tell me if they have added anymore vhf radio in2008
or is it the same as we have in 2006  :(

It is the same as in SS06. Still no VHF radio.

do you mean that voices in the steering cabin? let thoise away because it is very annoing, if you can't find the ''off'' button

Would be great if you can add your own recorded VHF conversations or even have features where the Standard Marine Communication Phrases (SMCP) is used, even between your ship and traffic ships (multiplayer ships)
On passenger ferries you cud even hear information like departing/arriving messages, "a kid is missing at deck 4, please respond to..." or something like that... ;D

Sure, that would be a nice feature but as in real life it should have a mute button... :D Communicating on different VHF channels in multiplayer would be really great. This will need a whole new way of naming the ships or we will have for instance 4 players sailing the LATITUTE answering the same call...  ::)

in SS2006 add-on you can change the sounds, like i replaced that voices for a funny background music  ;D
