Title: Mission Length
Post by: llamalord on June 22, 2008, 04:17:20
I create missions quite often and I'm always being told by mission testers, "Could you make it a bit longer." It's already 20 Minutes long, and some times I like a little mission that just takes up some time while the stove is preheating...(MMMM lunch) ;D

What about you?

I like 5-20 minute mission. I don't have 5 hours just to play a game. Or as some people would say, I have a life.  :P

The International Dialing Code of Antarctica is 672.

But do you know the surface area of an average-sized brick in square centimeters?

I like short missions lasting up to one hour.
Much missions with container loading are too long, and you can´t save them.

anything from 1 minute 20 about 40. After that it starts getting tedious and boring. ;)

Hoy,
For me it all has something to do with the mission itself.
If it's a resque mission,it can be very short, however if it towing vessels into harbours,it all can be taken some time.
And offcourse if you want to go from one port to another, passing the ocean area's,that takes extra time.
If you make the times to short,of what you want, you limited the options which you can do.
Yep,and for some of us is a long version of a mission maybe boring.
Just look what you like,on the shipsim-game.

(79 square centimeters)

anyway, I find the VERY long ones boring.

but again it depends on the ship as a 10 minite trip in a speed boat can be 2 hours in a large one
