Johnny Cash! ;D
I love his music also, its a shame that he passed away, some say that when his wife died he had a "broken heart" and thats why he passed away. Anyway, back on topic, my favourite music would have to be some country and Irish music, also Traditional Irish and Scottish music as i play the accordion, keyboard, piano and Tin Whistle, some of you may know it as the Penny Whistle, but the proper name for it is the Tin Whistle as that was the name it was originally given in Ireland when the first one was ever produced.

I love the bagpipes. I also love the uillean pipes (they are related to the Bag Pipes) both sets of pipes originally came from Ireland although the Scottish made the bagpipes their own, and the Irish use the Uillean pipes more often, although some Irish do play the bag pipes but mo so Uillean.
Jack.

I keep saying, I'm not. My wife has an Uncle Bruce, who like her is from New Jersey, though... She did go to school with Jon Bonjovie as well.
For me, it's Beatles & Rolling Stones & Scaffold & Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band & Terry Dactyl & the Dinosuars *cough* & Paul Simon & Bach & Beethoven & Handel... the list is endless.
My favourite tracks ever are:
- Yoko Ono's "Springfield Morning I Pushed an Empty Baby Carriage all Over the City". I got the joke. It makes me laugh and I love the riff.
- A particular piano solo of "Ode to Joy" and
- My wife playing "Sumunu Mantra" on her harp
-
I would say mine, but everyone would laugh :P ::)
Promise not to laugh and I might say :D
-
Well, I don't care if I get laughed at ;)

Rimsky Korsakov's "Sheherazade" is pretty good, though most classical music is very satisfying.

I also like Bach, it's allways good to hear..
the piano renditions by Glenn Gould were special, he was quite a character..

I guess I forgot to mention an all-time favourite of mine: Toccata & Fugue in D Minor. I always wanted to rise out of the pit, playing that like Vincent Price.
It would have looked less impressive on my mouth organ, though.

I love "flight of the Bumble Bee" on the button accordion. Quite amazing i have to say, although the button accordion is FAR more easier than the Piano accordion (which i play) because on a button accordion you can flick around the notes quickly, whereas on a piano accordion there is one big row of keys and they are harder to get around, so in actual fact the piano accordion is harder than the button accordion. But they are both hard instruments to learn (although i find the piano accordion easy to play) thats what other people say, that its a hard instrument to learn.

Who would have thought so many were keen on the Classics? ??? A real old favourite of mine is Max Bruch's violin concerto. :-* Makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up!!
-
Steely Dan, Larry Carlton, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, Pat Metheny (etc etc etc).
I often think I was born 30 years too late, and too far 'East' (Liverpool compared to California). :)

I'm mostly into 60's and 70's rock.
Also metal, such as slipknot and that style.
Wolgang Amadeus Mozart as well, yes I like classic music.
I'm not a fan of country and sugar pop, or rnb and rap. other then that, I like pretty much everything, except for techno, house, trance, and stuff like that.
rap = ******* atempting poetry.
* Edited for language - Mad_Fred. (No need to offend people that like music you don't like.)
