never even notest it but the ship owners must have been realy angry that they ship they had borught just sank before entering service

yeah, they should have left ship building to the UK. Then it would at least be in service before it sank. (Sorry, couldn't resist :P)

Turns out the real mistake was she ship itself.
Its sister was launched successfully 2 years later with a great reduction in height.

dunno, but even if there was, they were probably saved in no time.
