So with E3 coming up, I felt that it'd be good to have a thread on it so we can discuss what we're looking forward to.
For me, I'd personally love to see some footage from 2 games:
Peter Jackson's Halo: Chronicles
Formula One from Codemasters.
Halo is without doubt, my favourite story game of all time. However, it hasn't changed much in 7 years. I'm hoping that's down to Bungie growing tired of it slightly, and not that it might have gone stale with me. If anyone can inject new life into the franchise, I'm sure Peter Jackson can.
Formula One though, is my favourite sport. Before getting an Xbox back in '02, it was my favourite 'competitive' game back on the PS2/PS1. Having not played it in 5 years, I thoroughly hope Codemasters can pass over their recent offerings, and deliver something truly special. Seeing what they've done to franchises like TOCA and Colin McRae, I can't say I'm their biggest fan (they were my favourite games back on the PS1). Hopefully getting the F1 license will provide them with a fresh palette to get them back to their 'SIM-roots'. :)

It's much bigger than a local expo. Its events get broadcasted nationwide and the news probably goes even farther. It was E3 2006 that wrecked the PS3 with the announcement of the $599 price tag, and completely made the Wii with the finalized controller with built in speaker, price tag of $250, long game demo lines, and release date.

Well, I don't live in the states, so I couldn't know what it is, I have only once been in USA, but three times in Canada.

E3 is an annual show held in Los Angeles for the gaming press. It's generally the show where all the big name titles are announced (such as Halo, GTA etc). It's also used to announce new consoles (recent ones have been the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Wii).
All you need to know is, is that if you love games, then the next month is generally the best time of year for news. :)
