Have you tried delftship? It creates hulls that you can then model the rest in most 3D software.
You input (length, draft, width...)
-
what program are you using?
-
well i use sketchup but i can use other programs so just tell me and ill give it a shot also i use delftship but i relly cant be bothered to make a hull they aare so boring for me lol

I bet I could pull together some friends and make a hull for you. Anyone who needs to reach me just shine the bat symbol into the sky... 8)

Hello mate. I now this topic is dead but if youre still concerned with sketchup hulls then I now a very nice way. Plus I enjoy them. So give me a pM if your interested.

thats indeed a great and easy to learn program, even exports dfx and to michlett for more resistance calculations
now hear this Development corner: any chance all these (http://"http://www.boatdesign.net/gallery/showgallery.php/cat/500/ppuser/690") 3d hulls may be virtually tanktested on resistance seakeeping sails cfd etc sometime in the future here?
