I beleive it's a vaild question though, wouldn't you agree. Also, not everyone has bought and experienced Ship Simulator 2006, so questions about Ship Sim 2008 are inevitable and expected :)

Post by: dh216832 on July 13, 2007, 21:45:42: I'm glad to see that it is well liked. I have ss06 and am intrigued by the additional features. The only problem is, I cannot find pics or videos of ss08 on the website displaying the new functionality. Considering this is built off the quest3d engine, are they using the newest quest engine as well? 2006 crashed consistently on my computer so I stopped using it a while back. So I'm reluctant to buy this version without a demo and at least some visuals on the website.

Harbours and the open Sea are boring imo, now if you'd let me transport coal 50km on a river....that would be awesome.

but these guys have put out such a great product that i do not begrudge
them the Â£29.99 the sim cost.
