Title: why do you need a code for a ship in the game

I have noticed their is a ship for free roaming that needs a code can anyone tell me about how to obtain that code or is it something you earn as you go

The ducky? Type "ducky" in the ship select menu. It is an easter egg.

Yes.. exactly. Why is there a "lock" on a ship inside the retail version of the game? This pertains to the "historical yacht"... I can't access it.

as that ships is in NH add on but i have it on mine so if it is the retain game let us have it

Which patch have you got installed??

If you have the 1.4.2 patch installed it could be that they placed the boat in the vessel list but locked it.

You will probably unlock it when you buy New horizons and install it ;)

That's it then. So the patch introduced that ship and the expansion pack unlocks it.. :)
