It took me 38 minutes to model this, and i didn't want to texture it either, lol. heres a pic...

You are making improvements all the time- which is a good thing.
However, why not spend a little longer and stretch your abilities. It isn't a race. Still though, progress is good.

ok paddy, I feel a little bit less pessimistic this afternoon so ill model an oil tanker and (forcing myself to) texture it (ugh...)'

OK jokes aside you really should spend more time on the hull because that is what took our fore fathers so long to make a boat float. One of our best modelers ,Geox, took almost 11/2 years to make his ice breaker hull. ;)
