Hi everybody,

I start a new topic here where everybody can say when he/she will be absent for some time and some reasons

I will be absent for the next months because of exams (last year of merchant marine school). These exams lasts until begin of July. I will be back in July if I'm lucky and succeed in these exams or in September if I have to pass a "resit". You might see me from time to time in the forum or in multiplayer when I can't stand anymore the revisions.
See you guys and keep having fun in ship sim.

Iwill be absent now and again because i fly back to thailand tonight (not co phi phi im afraid )but
a place called udon thani for 10 weeks hope to get internet conection in village  :D

Hi guys,

I will be absent for at least the next two months. I have finished my exams and I go back to sail for work. Next destination Angola on a supply vessel on the 14th of July. So goodbye everybody, see you when I'm back.

Well, if you are absent minded that basically is the equvalent of staring into space and is the cause of staring into space. For this topic, you will not know in the future when you will be spacing out. So no, the topic does not cover that area of mental awareness ;D.

I am a Doctor of Astrophysics...

Medical Doctorates came a long while after Scientific Doctorates. PhD means Doctor of Physics. That term existed at Oxford long before America was even a thought on a map.

It may be to some long-dead Latin speaker.  :evil: I translated for you. "some bloke who Philosophises about a subject" would be OK.

Point is, Medical Doctorates are a more recent invention than the non-medical (e.g. scientific) version.

Don't forget that Doctorates can also be for many other reasons. I have a friend who has a Doctrate in religion. He studies "the afterlife" (to simplify). He is known by many of us as Doctor Death.

To tell you the truth, I was thinking as I was going to bed last night that there were other positions of a doctorate :P. I just didn't come in time to edit my post because there were other posts already ;D.
