I would also very much like to see high speed ferries in ship sim. What would be realy good though is if we could have them on the trip from dover to france.

Oh, no please, not the Stena Discovery.

To me, that is the most ugly ship afloat. More like a floating box with a catamaran hull.

I find the incat much more beautifull.

What about the Hawaii superferry? anyway, I like these speedferries, to have one would be good :)

Yes i agree with this, i think the Stena HSS (Explorer, Discovery and Voyager) should be put into the game as they are the largest fast ferries afloat, and they could all be put in with the same 3D model.

Also ild like to see an Incat ferry, (Seacats) like the speedferries ship.

Or

An Austal Ships, high speed ferry, like the Hawaii Superferry.

I would love to see a nice High-Speed Ferry (Car) in Ship Sim

And in the SS10 Sneak Peek Video, it does look like the White Cliffs of Dover are in the background, so we may yet get our chance to cross the Busiest Shipping Lane in the World.  :D

Trouble is, the High-Speed Cross Channel Operators are dropping like flies at the moment, HoverSpeed, now Speed Ferries, HD1 laid up in Newhaven, and even Brittany Ferries I believe are reducing their Fast Craft services.

I personally like the HSS, and it would be good to be able to sail them.

Also, If we do get Dover, I would love to see the massive SR.N4 Hovercrafts.

I once saw that speedferries catamaran in France.

A verry beautifull vessel, and allso a verry fast and powerfull.

I think it is the most beautifull one afloat.

I don't like the new incat vessels with the bridge only in the middle, and I really don't like the Stena HSS.

On the Speed one from speedferries, you can at least go to the side and see what you are doing.

Ah yes but on the Stena HSS you get a full 40 meter window forward facing to fully see where you are going!

This is true, until you get to a InCat 96m, you can't get a front view, saying that, they use to  have windows so that you could see the bridge itself.

Well, does that really matter if the ship allways is moored with her stern against the dock?

I think a side view is the most important.

hey, no worries, a High-speed craft doesn't have to be a catamaran. There are several monohulls about such as the SuperSeaCats, that are very fast (Same Speed as InCats, such as the late Speed One). Alsom the latest concept design is the BGV, and she is not a Cat either:

I'd love there to be an Incat!!

On the Speed one from speedferries, you can at least go to the side and see what you are doing.
On the Incats which has the bridge in the middle (Like Manannan above) have "special" INCAT CCTV systems at the back and down each side of the ship to dock.. So they do know what they are doing.. It's just the case of getting used to seeing the CCTV screens instead of looking down the side on a bridge wing..

I agree too, a lovely ship, I love all incat ships especially the Normandie Express that goes to Portsmouth.
Here is a pictire of the throth, the bridge, and a picture of the ship.
They do have CCTV, i saw it for myself up in the bridge.
The norman arrow is cool too, i would just love an incat ship !

Looks nice. 31kts is really impressive. One snag though:

"Dear Pyotr,

We would like you to model- photo realistically- the entire network of Greek Islands all X thousand of them.

Regards"

I think I know what the (lack of) response would be  :o
