Is it just me or does anyone else think the rankings are ridiculous ? There are only two groups where they are
correct. The tug group is using Military rankings, but there are no military tugs, and as for apprentice and journeyman, we are supposed to be merchant navy, not carpenters or stone-masons.
I'm sorry, but having been at sea for a large part of my life, simple mistakes like this irk me. I'm not asking
for realtime AI traffic, or Radar conntact and ATC like in MS flight sim ('though it would be nice) but surely we can get something as simple as this more realistic.

Yes i agree with you, certain aspects of ship simulator do need to be changed, i myself have experience at sea etc.

I dont see a problem here, what else can you call the ranks? There are quite a few to name. I think the titles to the ranks are fine as they are  :)

But thats just my opinion...

ranking is to easy anyone can get a catpain ranking within a day if they  try
