Title: Dreamland theme park (Margate), UK
Post by: Stuart2007 on April 07, 2008, 22:03:32
Just read on the news that the oldest theme park in Grim Britain and one of the oldest in the world has just gone up in flames today.

The Police are treating it as suspicious.

Some groups wanted the site demolished to re-use the site for commercial development- but couldn't as much of the site was listed.

I guess it isn't listed any more, is it? It's a bad luck thing- it seems to happen a lot in this country when listed property is in the way... it catches fire. (not that I'm imlpying anything untoward, just observing)  ;)
