The water depth of the Jersey Flats became no less than 22m in SS2008, and 42m in the dock of Global Marine Terminal. I didnt check all the NY harbor... 8)
Perhaps has it been dredged since the last correction of my charts, or that the sea level changed because of the global warming? ;D (40°40'N, 74°03'30"W)

I think it must be magic. there has been talk of dredging New York Harbor to accommodate bigger ships, but as fear as I know there has been no action. And, as you say, the latest US charts do not show any increase.
Perhaps the complaints of SS players have power beyond our ken. ;) ;)

Well, if the Engineers didnt ??? dig deeper, it is surely indeed kind of Abracadabra. That is of course a cheap way to dispose of the spoils, but I dont see how they managed it. Hopefully, the next Harry Potter will give the solution, how to transform depths economically. 8)
