Title: Problem with game loading

I bought SS2008 yesterday and I've had a recurring problem. Installation etc. is fine and so is the game up to when I start a mission or any game.

It loads fine but then just jams. I can't start a ship and the game doesn't respond to any key. I end up having to reboot my computer every time.

I uninstalled the game and re-downloaded/re-installed it from scratch but there was no success with this.

I have no idea what the problem is, particularly because my PC matches or exceeds the system requirements.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

buy a mac, it will solve all your problems. Then install Windows on it and and you'll only have windows to blame, not the computer. ;D
