The name is Nordkap and she was a Norwegian fishing vessel

If you look with the "Search" button you will see that "Nordkap" (North Cape in English, the most northerly tip of Europe) figured in May of 2007 in the small talk thread. However, yes, "North Star" is the same ship adapted for Ship Simulator.

Hi TJK,
Thank you for your post. I stand corrected as to the northernmost point of Europe. Many, many years ago my wife and I won a competition in the local Liverpool newspaper. The prize for this was a cruise to the North Cape on the "Mauretania" of Cunard Line. (That gives you some idea HOW long ago) I did not enjoy the cruise part, as a seafarer myself I did not like being talking cargo. ::) however I fell in love with your Country and your people and, though I never will be able to now, would love to see more of Norway.
