i'm not sure but remember i have read someplace it's take about 240MB to 250 MB

After the full (GM) update, the ShipSim2008 folder will be about 972 MB. It’s not meaningful to ask how much the add-on itself requires, because it replaces most of 1.3.
The space to hold the initial downloaded update executable is about 200 MB. The update on DVD runs around 800 MB.
