Title: Can´t add ShipSimAddon to SS2008?

Hi There
why can´t i install the 2006 ship add ons to the 2008 version?

Could you explain more clearly for us?


If you mean are they compatible with SS08, you can get them.

Or do you mean that you are having troulbe installing them?

Once again..

i´ve got problems installing the 2008 addon.
after downloading the exe file and opening it i got this error message:

The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete.

Hmpf..!! i´ve tried to download the addon again but it doesnt work anyway.

also i can´t use the download mirror 2  because:
You don't have permission to access /ShipSim2008/Downloads/Ship.Simulator.2008.AddOn.ships.exe on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

You're right about mirror 2. I have passed on your report to the admins. Thanks for reporting.

I've tried downloading Ship.Simulator.2008.AddOn.ships.exe from mirror 1 and it seems to work now as it's supposed to. Something may have went wrong when you downloaded the file the first time - could you please try to download the file again from mirror 1?

I want this to much i need to find the link i can buy it enywere so i need to download him where did you find please help me i need this forr SS2006 or SS2008 its not mether just i need to hawe this new ships and horizonts!!!!!!!!

Hello Explorer 84,

The addon will be available in about a week.
You can then buy it from VSTEP.

There is no download link to get it, other than one that you can get when you own the SS06 addon.

The old SS06 addon customers had a chance to upgrade to the SS08 version for free.
But now that the New Horizons Addon is so close to release, the wise thing is to just wait and buy that one instead.
