Will Ship Simulator

How do you think they go up and down in waves? They have one, it is just not the best.

I think They use Newton Game Dynamics. ;) http://www.newtondynamics.com/

Windows Vista has physics, it always goes down.
They probably made their own.

Newton Game Dynamics is in the ShipSim manual...

A physics engine is a computer program that simulates Newtonian physics models, using variables such as mass, velocity, friction and wind resistance, wave resistance etc. It simulates and predicts effects under different conditions that would approximate what happens in real life or in a virtual world. I am certain if SS has already one it is very inaccurate.
Microsoft Flight Simulator uses one and even does the next Train Simulator.

SS does have one, in what why would you say its inaccurate?

From what I have played on the demo, the boat has no mass to it. It just corks around. Also, the damage is very fake, if you bump into something at <3kt you get a hole in your ship (look at videos for proof)

I actually agree with that. I have seen some strange behaviors with some of the add-on boats in this game when using rough sea. And I must say that the behavior looks far from naturally. Yes they got a physics engine but that's just a start of what they can achieve ;)
