hi,im having trouble getting tracxkir working in shipsim 08..any helpo would be apprieated

well i just plain cant get it to work...im not sure what to do..trackir works fine in flight sim..but i read some where you need vs 3. something and i have the latest version of trackir ...im not sure what to do to set it up to make it work.....

do you have the ShipSim V1.3 patch? In options > controls there should then be a button to push to make trackIR work.

Hi Daveroo..

I'm glad that you got this solved.
I use the TIR too and it really is a great addition to the experience.

But normally these question would need to go in the Technical Support board.
To acces that board, you need to register your license key in your forum profile.
I recommend doing so, as it will give you acces to much more forum boards, and also to other online content.

I'll leave this one here for now as it is resolved anyway and so you can read my remark.

Hi Fred,

Whats track ir like with ss08? I've just ordered one it looks good in the flight sim videos I've seen, be interested to hear how it goes in this game and if you had any specific problems setting up etc.

Track IR 4 is an motion sensor that allows you to change your view by moving your head instead of changing view with you mouse have a look here I've not explained it very well, look at the videos to see what you can do.

You place the reciever on top of your monitor and by using a hat mounted or headphone mounted tracker this moves your point of view in the game.
