Nice Videos, thanks for posting. I wonder if the SS Bore's Master is such a Telegraph Whirler when he is not being filmed. 8)
Cheers, Stewart.

And I wonder about the chiefs moods, if the master always uses the telegraph with such intense.. ::)

Yes,on that vessel, you could rather be the cook ;D,than the engineer :D.
I think they are with 3 down in the engine-room,however i know why,so that they can trade places, ones an a while.
Also,i think that vessel needs a spare telegraph,because the other will be worn-out,afther a trip from "maasvlakte"to "Rotterdam(erasmusbridge" ;D ;D ;D

Yes, on ss Bore the orders from the bridge to the engine room was quite intence. 8)
Love the old way of sailing. ;)

Yeah, that's what I'm missing some times with the simulator. You can change speeds and thrust directions way too simple at some of our vessels. It's like using electric propulsion on every vessel, there is no need to wait until the engines stopps before starting it in reverse. No problems with less air pressure or so... ::) - well, it's a game! ;)
