Title: 06 Ships
Post by: UUUUUHHHHHH on June 30, 2007, 00:32:12: I was wondering this because it was not made very clear. Will 08 include all the 06 ships and the 06 addon ships? Thanks.

I'm sure I heard something along the lines of what I said in a post before, but I can't remember if it was a member, moderator, or developer that said it. It may be viewed as unfair to include these ships in the base game when some people payed for the privelidge of having them added to their base SS06 game.

I'm not entirely bothered and I think it would actually be a lot less hassle for me to have them in the base game than to download the addon all over again for free or as some enabling pack. It's really up to Vstep, because doing this will effectively devaluate the addon pack.

IÂ´m not sure, how VSTEP, Lighthouse or Astragon will handle the support with the Add-Ons. Maybe it will be for free than - but in fact, you could buy the whole (old!) game for a much lower price since a few month. As far as I know, VSTEP want's to reduce that trouble in the future by a restrictive licence key use. Don't know how, but that seems to be a possibility to prevent abuse...
