Title: WOOHOO!
Post by: matt105 on February 18, 2008, 10:13:01: Well to be more specific with the woohoo. I have now got a decent graphics card that can run ship ship 08 and on high graphics ;D.

I have bought a MSI NVIDIA GEFORCE NX7600GT 512mb (agp8x) and it works like a charm.
I have been waiting for this day a long time and i could actually see the water. (finally :-\)

I have a problem when i download the big 500mb patch when i get like 3 quarters the way through or whenever it says. *It has Time Out* Why is that?

I'd recommand DownThem All, which is quite similar to GetRight, except it works only for FireFox ... But it is freeare !

Post by: matt105 on February 20, 2008, 07:49:21: Well i got 1 more prob now i downbloaded it fine that time but when i try to get in the game a black screen comes up after the cinematic....It worked fine without the patch and the main menu came up after the cinematic..please help

Hmm....the CPU maybe ??? ;D

Joking aside, you would need to check which model of Motherboard you have, because the specs of that will determine what your board can handle ;)

The quality today is good.
My problem is not on the Questviewer and SS is with the HYDRA with VTS system, Digital radio system and weather system all in the same program.

Post by: matt105 on February 22, 2008, 09:21:08: Well im fine, nd woohoo for me again (by the way) as the black screen no longer comes up for the patch 1.3 :) so im having a great time with Ship Simulator 2008. I will be soon playing multiplayer as soon as i become a bit better.
