Hi!
I live in Brazil and i´m trying to buy a copy of shipSim08.
I choose the version "download version" ang to the "shopping cart". When i click in "checkout" this apears:
------ In portuguese! I´m using firefox BR -------
------------------------------
In other words, the page can not be found. Since this is the only way for me to buy this EXCELENT Sim, i have no other alternatives to get it. :'(
Please help! I have an international credit card to complete the process, but for an unknow reason this is happening..... Anyone with contact to the staff of the game please help me.
Thank you all and sorry about english mistakes....

Maybe you can ask one of the Admins or members to buy it for you and post it?
Or, go to www.ebay.co.uk, and buy a copy from there. Make sure the seller can send it to portugal and then download the language pack, which alows you to view the game in spanish?

Yes, its a way....
But i´m in Brazil and not Portugal ;D
I´m going to check if amazon.uk can send it to me here in Brazil.... But please, if someone can talk to the staff about this problem in the page, i apreciate!!!!
Thank you Nathan

Hiya flaviossa :)
I've just checked the site, everything is working fine for me. Have you tried using Internet Explorer instead of Firefox? It may also be an idea to check your browser settings ;)

Yes, i tryed with both... Maybe a net limitation to Brazil perhaps?
I´m going to upload 2 screens of my browser for you to see...
Thank you!

Yes! I think i discovered the problem:
When i click to "checkout" the address of the page that open follows:
http://shopping+cart.php/
... That is the error page.
So, o pickup this address and put in front:
http://www.shipsim.com/shopping+cart.php/
For some reason the first part "desapear" when i click checkout....
Wonder why ...... :-\ Now, i can continue whith the registration. Thanks!

At the top of every forum page you will see a Profile button, click that and scroll down until you see License key registration:. Enter your key there, then click Register ;)
This will give you access to new boards, including Technical Support and Missions :)

I actually encountered the same problem. I checked the HTML source, and the URL for form submit is "//shopping+cart.php/ ".
The contact page has a similar problem, with a form submit URL something like "//support/contact+us.php" ... so I can't even ask question through the contact page.
I also tried to solve the the problem using the same trick, typing the apparently correct address "http://www.shipsim.com/shopping+cart.php/". However, I were not comfortable with ordering online this way then, and so didn't proceed. Now giving your success, I think I may give it a try.
Is it an issue of compatibility with web browser? I noticed most links on the shipsim website have double-slash after shipsim.com, except for some pages.

SFC, im my case it worked.... There was a substantial wait in the credit card verification (Some about 3 min) but it worked fine. Dont click anything in the credit card verification...!! The process after that was very quick!!
Good sailin' ;D

Those of them that matter seem to be happy. ;D
Witness the recent cheese ceremonies, marmite sessions, muppet character impressions and so on. Happy? Manical, I'd reckon. Or do they wear manicals?
