Wow...

A wake from a container ship? LOL maybe if the ship was going 10000 mph. Saying we had tons of winds I would say a wave..

Another one hit the Snohomish Today. (the one in the first post) it flooded the first deck with a foot of water...

It has been taken out of service while the 12 ft waves go down.

Yeah and three of our Diesel-Electric Ferry's were taken out of service due to hull corrosion. We just bought a new ferry for that run. It goes into service next week. :D

I am sure that they wouldn't do that. Now that 4 vessels have been damaged.

I bet the Coast Guard is having a h*** of a time down by the Columbia + Pacific.

Its called the death point. The water down there gets SO rough the coast guard bought a boat that can right itself if it were to flip over. Almost 60 vessels have sank in those waters.

This is actually in a lake but they had to close both floating bridged because water was getting on the road.

Well one of the three taken out for a cracked hull that were 80 years old was running passenger only and the new one is a car ferry again.

I actually got a new truck in Bremerton and saw 2 navy vessels. I went their right before school started.

But there haven't been this many "Freak Waves" in the sound.
