Title: My Recent Purchase
Post by: Agent|Austin on February 04, 2008, 04:39:09: I would like to inform all the members that I have just bought and downloaded the Ship Simulator 2006 / 2008 Addon!

Also, I got a new gaming PC and Laptop that run ship simulator at a realistic speed. And bow splashes work now. As I told DJM I finally am back to liking this game. Since it is very hard to stay under control and enjoy it at 2 FPS. Anyway I can't wait for the Addon to finish downloading (55%).

So this is kind of a welcome back and saying how great the game is. I hope to write some reviews on some sites for it.

And btw Agent, the offer still stands.. the 6 addon vessel are still a free upgrade, if you own the previous version.

But you can still read in the official statement that the 6 SS2006 Addon vessels will be upgraded for SS2008 for free, including their missions. (IF you own the original version)

There's also more content coming, but that was never part of the SS2006 Addon in the first place, of course.

1. Go to www.shipsim.com, and go to the patches section. DOwnload the lastest SS06 patch. [1.8]
2. Register the key and your SS08 key in your profile. An orange box will appear saying you can have the addon for SS08 ;)
