Title: RIVERDANCE

has gone aground after being hit by freak wave in the bay
All crew were airlifted to safety along with 23 passenger's

exelent video i was down there this morning she is sinking into sand now and the bad weather has not helped now completly on her side sad to see

Post by: IRI5HJ4CK on March 14, 2008, 08:40:29: i've actually seen her, shes in a right state, i don't think she will be out of there any time soon by the looks of things, maybe the high tides will lift her. but even if she does get out of there she will be in a right state now as she's completely over on her starboard side.

Apparently it would be too expensive to get her back in working order, so looks like her next voyage (they hope to re-float her) will be a scrap yard. :(

A sad end for a frieght ferry.
