does anybody know exactly how much damage is necessary for a ship to sink? And if so will it affect how fast it will sink?
regards :)
-
Hello,
Would say around 80%.
-
best way to sink is just the full 100% ;D
-
It can sink with less damage; in some cases with 0 still shown on the HUD.
How she sinks is generally independent of damage, Most ships have one personal way of sinking—Titanic settles sedately stern first, Latitude goes down by the bow, etc.

hm for me they just sink like 2-4m then they drop like a rock and very unrealistic :D ^^

my ship sink at 60%

okay i didnt know that there are certain ways for the ships to sink depending on which vessel it is...so they should sink slower with less damage then
-
But there is a way to make tianic skink by the bow instead of the stern
-
How did you do that? Im wondering how you did.

I can see from your screen-dump that you use Teamspeak.... are there any VSTEP TS servers running at what is their address...?
I saw the post with TS, but nobody ever uses it, and it's so yesterday to sit and type at the same time as making difficult manouvers.
Must say I love the working together with tugs when docking larger ships.
Great game...
