(they are very expensive to get the licences but if u look in the right places u can get then for very little in comparisonoh and they arnt easy to learn but when u do they are very powerful things and are used for a lot of the animated films and cgi)

Greetings,
3-Dmax,is a fantastic program to work with. However it will take a while before you are able to create a hull,if you dont have any experience.
I should suggest, try to start on something easyer. That will help you more, untill you understand how it all works.
Regards
Marc

You can try the xsi mod tool, which is absolutely free and great for poly's and texturing.

or else try Gmax, a light version of 3ds max. It's a little outdated by now, but still good enough to get the job done : )

No, i dont have 3Dmax,however i've downloaded Gmax, and i found out very soon that it takes time to figure out how and what that program does.
That's why i started with Sketsup,if i have time than i make something. So i get the basics very good.
I think about buying 3Dmax,in the future, when i've got the money and a bit of the skills you need to have.
From than on it's just practice.
