does the 2006 addon work with ship sim 2008 and does it have to have ship sim 2006?

Hi djuplift :)

I will give you a short answer as this question has been answered numberous of times.

The 2006 add-on will only work with SS2006, but the 2006 add-on key will allow you to download the 2008-version of the add-on that will work with SS2008.
