Is it worth it to get the 2008 add on thant was 2006?
-
The soon to be finished and available SS2008 conversion of the SS2006 Addon pack you mean?
YES!
-
its not available to convert to 2008 yet?
-
Nope, they are still working on it.
Although the people who have bought the SS2006 version have a chance of downloading the ships allready.

im getting 2006 and 2006 add on right now so i can putt the add on ships on 2008
-
you don't need to get 2006 only to get the key for 08-ships. Having a license-key for the 06 addon and registering this key is sufficient.
-
so wait is there a 06 to 08 add-on yet? or is it only 08 to 06 ? cause if there is away to play the 08 game through the 06 game ill go buy o6 right now
-
Why don't you look in FAQ and Announcments?
-
cause it be easier for someone juz to answer a simple yes or no rather then me go looking for the answer
-
Not hard to look in FAQ and Announcments, but i will answer it for you anyway:
1. If you bought the SS06 addon, and registered the licence key in your profile, and orange box will appear saying you can get it for SS08 for free. Otherwise, it will be for sale later in the January.
NOTE: You may have to re register the SS06 addon licence key to see the orange box.
Clearer now? :)
-
yeah makes sense, well im not gonna buy sso6 and then buy the addon juz so i can play 08
-
Yeah, just get SS08 when you can, and get the addon for it then :)
Sorry if I was a bit short tempered earlier :)
-
yea buy ship sim 08 8)

It may be easier, but the answers are available for you to 'look for yourself'. Please check the FAQ board for any information you need 'before' posting, and expecting members to answer the question because you can't be bothered looking.
