Hey all,
I live in Newcastle, Australia and a coal ship went on the beach called Nobby's Beach. They landed on the beach as there was a terrible storm and the engine wouldnt start and then they hit the beach! So they are going to get a couple of tugs in a week or so to try and pull it back in the water the water. :-\
Cheers, Matt

Although it was a very interesting day with 4 vessels struggling to get out to sea, this could have been posted in the general section as it has little to do with the 2008 release.
Thanks

Great! Now they got a new landmark in the town… stranded bulk ship at the beach baby! ;D ;D
-
yea nice landmark, that thing looks like it would just plow through the town. KM
-
Haha, dam, look at the big wave! :D
-
yea thats a good one. KM
-
Let me tell you, that the Average Wave Height was 17.9m, much, much, much........ larger then those waves! When the big waves crash up against the ship there's a huge BOOM from the empty hatches! Quite amazing!

A beutifull day at the beach, your lying in the sun, a bulk ship comes stranding on the beach.
(In Belgium this allso happens once with a coaster)
-
Is she still stranded? http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,21938472-2,00.html
Anyway, it is nicier than looking at jellyfishes on the strand.

I saw the Sealink Hengist on the beach at Folkestone in 1987.
That was a sight to see. It wasnt just the bow, it was beam to the beach- the jetty holed it about 15-20 yds rear quarter.
