Why when i go online does it say I have an error and 'Check your license key is valid on the forums' It is valid i bought it from a legal shop 'GAME' not pre-owned.

How come it says this?

Have you registerd the licence key on the forum under your profile?

Hi Sgt.Panda :)

Welcome to the forum. To use the online functions in SS you will have to register your licence key on the forum as Locutus-Mouse suggests.

Go to 'Profile' and scroll down to where it says 'License key registration' and then enter your licence key.

Then you will also gain access to technical support and new missions.  ;)

This may sound dumber but.....what does going online actually do? ???

Hi Sgt.Panda :)

That depends on which version of SS08 you are using...
v1.1 Upload your ranks and mission times.
v1.3 (When it will be released!) Multiplayer and mission up/downloading.
