Hi Robert! :)
Welcome to the forums. SS2008 is the most recent version. That is the one I would recommend. SS Professional is based on the old SS2006.

WOW.......................LOOKS SO REAL,I REALLY ANT WAIT WHEN THAT COMES IN THE GAME IF IT IS.
-
Wow, that X55 is looking sweet!
One thing; Where is the keel?
-
There is no keel, because the model is for FSX and it is always invisible for better frame rate. My models have very dense mesh and I don't know is it possible to sail in SS? X55 has many moving parts and sail too and she has all interior equipment.

It's excellent to see you've modelled the interiors, it is part of Vsteps aims to include full walkthroughs on all Ship Sim vessels.
-

-
hi guys i have all the deltasim boats and the great detail some of the best i have seen they would be great in shipsim hope to se them in the game
-
Hello deltasim.
Your ship models are great!
You have almost same skill as top class professional modellers in Turbo Squid.
I think that, you may have 2 ways to put it in SS.
1.You sell your models to VSTEP with commercial based price, including copyright.
(Something may need change to put it in SS system, under your permission list.)
2.You make new model directly for VSTEP, under VSTEP commercial subscription.
(VSTEP need external modellers, and you have professional skills for it.)
You may get bigger money than selling it to each player with cheep money.
And, you get famous great name, every SHIP-SIM players know.
How about them.
-
I sent question to VSTEP yesterday and I'm waiting for response.

Very nice models, but personaly i think they are a bit too "shiney"
But then again, i like workboats and most of the time they dont shine and are a bit rusty... :D
-
I love them. i saw them for fsx but my fsx don't work and ive really wanted to sail them. They must have taken tonnes of time. I'd hate to see all that time and effort put into them for nothing. I hope they get onto ship sim 2008
-
HI all,
i think his ships are very gread, how have Desining the Ships??

That Cabo is the exact boat I've been looking to play with in Ship Sim.. besides a single or twin engine 20-29 foot Center Console fishing boat.
